What it costs as a student?
Money is the first question, so here is a straight answer.
- 20% off every visit when you show a valid student ID
- Fees follow the ODA Fee Guide, so you are charged the standard rate before the discount, not a marked-up one
- Larger treatments can be split into monthly payments instead of paid all at once
You get the full cost quoted before anything starts, so nothing lands on the bill that you did not agree to first.
Your student plan, handled for you
Most full-time students are covered under the Toronto Metropolitan Students’ Union health and dental plan. Bring your plan details to the first visit and your coverage is checked before treatment.
- Direct billing for most major Canadian carriers, so you do not pay in full and wait weeks for a reimbursement
- If your plan covers part of the cost, the difference is covered. If it pays 70%, the remaining 30% is on us, with nothing extra out of your pocket
- Covered through a parent or an employer instead? Bring that information and it is billed the same way
No coverage at all? The student discount and monthly payments still apply, and you may qualify for the plan covered near the bottom of this page.
Smile now, pay your way
Split your treatment into monthly payments or set an amount that fits your budget. Care comes first and the cost stays manageable.

Elmwood Park Dental rocks😊 From attitude to elegance to skillfulness, ElmWood is above and beyond. Dr. Hughes is A+++. Great comforting attitude. Dr. Hughes, his assistant, the lady who did my teeth cleaning; They are all like the best dental care team that anyone would be so lucky to have their help. I am so optimistic about my teeth future because of ongoing issues. Dental visits scares me , usually, but not today. I was well-cared for. Thanks to ElmPark dental and Dr. Jain massive “above and beyond “ Canada Dental Care Plan 😊 Thanks a million! How lucky am I?Posted on Google![]()

With a checkup. That covers an exam, a cleaning, and a plan for anything that needs attention, so you know where you stand.
Dental care under the CDCP
If you are not covered by a student or private plan, you may qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan. Eligible patients are seen and billed directly under the CDCP for covered services.
